Notes on the song
I often try to write songs with a message, and this song is about the danger and damage caused by climate change.
Climate change can cause impact and damage to people's health and well-being and could result in the earlier death of some people in some areas. Climate change affects the food we eat, the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the places that provide us with shelter. So I think it is important that we reduce climate change and many countries do more to reduce their climate change impact.
The song mentions China and the United States, who when I recorded the song were the number 1 and 2 highest countries causing impact and damage to climate change. The reference to the United States uses the expression 'Good Morning America' which is a famous TV program from years ago.
I have made my Red Eye songs with many different fantastic vocalists. I would always do the guide vocals for them for each song. But when I recorded the vocals for this song I actually thought my vocals worked and sounded well, so for the first time ever I have used my vocals on one of my Red Eye songs.
